In pursuit of providing an extensive product range and expanded structural sections, a cutting-edge special profile mill (SPM) has been inaugurated in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, with a substantial capacity of 0.7 MTPA.

This mill stands as a pioneering venture in India, not only producing specialised profiles but also track shoes, a critical undercarriage component responsible for load transmission to the ground.

With an annual national demand of approximately 45,000 MT and intricate design and chemistry, 100% of track shoe profiles or finished products were traditionally imported. In a significant milestone, the first-ever domestic production of a triple grouser track shoe profile has been achieved at the Special Profile Mill at Raigarh Unit I.
